LONGMONT PIANO LESSONS
About Me
I am passionate about teaching piano to students of all ages and levels. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced player, I can help you achieve your musical goals. I am especially well-suited to very bright, creative students who may question more than some might appreciate. The lessons are held in my cozy home studio located in Old Town Longmont.

I moved to Longmont in 2021, after 45 years of living, teaching, and performing in Chicago. I taught at the Old Town School of Folk Music, at Columbia College Chicago, and maintained a roster of private piano students that often numbered more than 40. I am a member in good stand of the Music Teachers National Association, the Colorado State Music Teachers Association, and the American Federation of Musicians.
Education
I studied at the American Conservatory of Music, under Alice Angermann, who was a student of Conrad Ansorge, who was a student of Franz Liszt (who was a student of Carl Czerny, who was a student of Ludwig Van Beethoven). I bring this lineage to my students who are interested in classical music.
